The feather edge slats are 2ex 22 x 100mm (4″) , which means a piece of 22 x 100mm is cut diagonally along its length to produce 2 wedge shape boards. Each board finishes slightly smaller than 100mm and a bit thinner than 22mm The feather boards are nailed on to your fence frame work arris rails, over lapping approx. 25mm (1″) which is Tate fencing recommendation (approx.. 13 per meter) These 4″ feather edge boards are available to buy in twelve different lengths to suite your required fence height.
