Description Scarfed and mortised post and rail fencing is a premium post and rail fence for use as agricultural fencing or at home in the garden. It includes mortised softwood posts and scarfed rails. It is also commonly used as livestock fencing. The posts come in two sections of timber 75 x 125mm (3” x 5” approx.) or 75 x 150mm (3” x 6” approx.) which again are available in two lengths. The scarfed rails are available in 38 x 87mm or 38 x 100mm. A pointed prick post is included in every bay. Don’t forget to add an end post to finish off.
