Garage Specifications Our timber garages use pressure-treated softwood timber to improve durability and resist rot, decay, and insect damage. We construct frames from robust kiln-dried timber, typically 47 x 75mm, to ensure strong structural support. Additionally, we use ex 19 x 125mm shiplap cladding, which creates a tight and weather-resistant finish. We also include heavy-duty timber roof structures with engineered trusses or solid rafters. The roof uses 19mm interlocking boards and finishes with high-quality felt or EPDM rubber for long-term weather protection. Moreover, floor options feature 19mm tongue and groove boards supported by treated joists for added strength. Each garage includes a pair of fully framed, ledged, and braced TGV doors, rebated into the frame. These doors provide an opening of approximately 2.4m wide by 1.9m high. We supply a cylinder lock and handle, along with security bolts to the door hinges and a pair of door stays. In addition, this garage includes four fixed windows with 4mm toughened glass. You can position these windows to suit your layout and requirements. As standard, we supply a heavy-duty green glass fibre mineral felt roof covering. However, you can upgrade this option with additional finishes. We also supply air vents fitted to the end panel, along with a membrane lining. Please note that this building does not include a floor.
