Description Cundy peeled strainer posts are larger posts used to strain your wire or fencing against. Used for straining line wires, stock fencing, wire netting and any other fencing which requires straining up. Peeled softwood strainers are large round stakes pointed. Peeled means they have had the bark taken off. You generally use a strainer at the beginning and end of a fence run, at any corner or ground level change and sometimes in the middle of the run if the run is longer (a strainer post every 25m would be sufficient). You would also install a Cundy peeled strut which is a smaller post installed against the strainer at an angle in the direction to take the strain of the wire. All Cundy stakes are pressure treated / Tanalised against rot and decay. Available in 6ft, 7ft, 8ft, 10ft lengths. Between 4 -5″ or Between 5 – 6″ diameter
