Overview The MX-HIROSE is a Hirose DC input sled designed to power certain Sound Devices recorders, including the original MixPre series, the MixPre-M series, and the MixPre-II series. For most compatible recorders, releasing the MX-HIROSE is simple: just press the release tab. However, for the MixPre-10 II, you’ll need a flat-head screwdriver. Before using the MX-HIROSE, set your MixPre’s power source internally to the NiMH option. When connecting the MX-HIROSE to the original MixPre units, it’s recommended to use a right-angled Hirose connection.
