The Zeapon Micro2 Plus PONS Pan Kit: Motorised Micro2 Plus PONS Motorised Pan Head achieves its extended suspension travel through a dual-slider design. The slider operates with a simple push of the hand. As you manually push against the rails, the strap in the middle pulls the camera platform over a distance of 28 cm. Simultaneously, the rails themselves move in the same direction but at a slower pace. After the camera platform reaches the end of its path, the rails continue moving until they reach the end of their path. In total, you get 53 cm of movement, approximately double the length of the standard slider. Importantly, the design ensures that the rails and camera platform do not overlap at any point, preventing interference with the lens. All movement is achieved with fluid damping-based friction technology, ensuring smooth and consistent motion proportional to the pressure applied while pushing. The slider features a 1/4″-20 mounting screw for attaching a compatible ball head or tripod head. At the bottom, there’s a 3/8″-16 thread for tripod mounting, and a 3/8″-16 to 1/4″-20 reducer is included, providing compatibility with a wide range of tripods and camera mounts. The Micro 2 slider can be mounted horizontally, angled, or vertically on a tripod, allowing for versatile shooting options with a highly portable slider. The PONS motorised pan/tilt head, consistent with Zeapon’s product style, excels in both software and hardware quality. It enables users to select waypoints and rotation speeds using dedicated buttons and design intricate shooting paths via the Zeapon Lab mobile app for desired waypoint surround shots and time-lapse photography.
