Lightweight Design He monitor has been slimmed down to weigh only 7.4 oz, and there are added locating holes alongside the 1/4″-20 threads for anti-twist mounting. A single L-series battery plate on the back has been placed in the center to improve balancing and maneuverability. Brighter Display The 5.2″ touchscreen display is 50% brighter than the Shinobi, measuring 1500 cd/m² peak brightness, making it easily readable whether you’re shooting indoors or in bright sunlight. Camera control Using specially designed on-screen sliders you can adjust white balance, lens aperture, shutter speed/angle and ISO. A red edge display indicates when the camera is recording internally, whether triggered by the camera or from the Shinobi II. Perfect for video and photography Shinobi II will run all day on a single battery and offers a host of professional monitoring features. Set up your shots accurately using our advanced histograms, waveforms and videoscopes. A multi-tool Analysis View gives you all the essential info at a glance. Cable locking Atomos has developed a unique and rugged locking ecosystem to maintain a secure grip on connected HDMI and USB-C cables and Shinobi II is supplied with a special bracket to facilitate this. With Atomos locking cables (purchased separately) it is the most robust capture cable system available today. Shinobi II is also fully compatible with standard, non-locking cables. Power Options There are multiple methods to power the Shinobi II, including an L-series/NP-F style battery, an optional battery eliminator (dummy battery) in combination with a DC barrel to D-Tap cable, or via a USB-C PD charger with 10W input. You can also charge/power your camera via USB-C PD 13W output while using Shinobi II’s camera control features.
